A feature on HSNP is published on People Daily Newspaper of Tuesday, 16th December 2014. HSNP mass bank account opening for Group 1 and 2 is in the final stages with a set target of completion being 31st January 2015. The programme targets to open bank accounts for 302,000 households both for the regular recipients, 100,000 and for emergency scale up. A valid National ID is CBK requirement for Know Your Customer regulation in opening bank account.
